It is the oldest, most popular and longest beach east of the Antillean capital, with five kilometres of unquestionable quality for bathers, palm trees, coconut trees and dunes cushioned with white sand, capable of dazzling the visitor with the midday sun. Families occasionally come here for a day of camping. Many say that this stretch of sandy coastline has practically recovered its virginity. It has abundant tropical vegetation and is more likely to find flocks of sheep than bathers.
